I usually list mine counting down from five, but I don't think it's possible to pick one over another for this topic.

- Four loving parents and four wonderful siblings. I know too many people who hate their home life, especially if their parents are divorced, but the separation led to something spectacular. I am so thankful that the nine of us get along so well!

- My voice. No matter how down or inferior I'm feeling, I can always rest in the fact that I have something most people don't: a talent for singing. I danced and played sports as a kid, but I can't even describe the feeling of finding out I had something truly special about me. I'm thankful for the confidence my God-given gift has brought me.

- A great education. I went to middle school at a public fine arts school where we learned outside of the curriculum and above our ages, and to high school at a private Christian academy that focused on personal needs and college preparation. Not many people I know received the same well-rounded education, and I'm thankful I had the opportunity to study at two wonderful schools (though I hated it at the time).

- My church choir family. I've been going to the same church for six years now, and I now can't imagine it otherwise. I feel especially close to the kids in the music and drama department (all eleven of us). We have shared so many amazing times and wonderful memories, and they are all awesome people. I'm thankful to have such great, close friends with whom I share my faith.

- My almost-boyfriend. He's one of my best friends, and I've always cared about him only slightly less than food and water, but when he asked me out last night I couldn't stop thinking about how blessed I was - I'm so thankful that I've finally found someone to love and care about me.

I haven't really posted anything on here, but I've been watching this group since my MoH pointed it out shortly after the engagement. We got married this Halloween, though we were less themed than most in this group.
Our favors were various Halloween candies they could "trick or treat" from table to table to get. Our flower girl (my new step daughter!!) had on faerie wings, & half way through the reception she & our ring bearer (my new niece!!) changed into Halloween costumes. The florist added a neat touch & put cobwebs on many of our floral arrangements, & the girls dropped silk autumn leaves instead of petals. We encouraged our guests to come in costume, though sadly, only my boss & her husband, & 3 other people besides the kiddos dressed up since we had an afternoon wedding.

My photographer is a very dear friend of mine & absolutely amazing at what she does.
